Happy Lunar 'Rabbit' Year 2562

The Lunar New Year is sometimes referred to as the Spring Festival. In China itself, people may take weeks of holiday from work to prepare for and celebrate the New Year. This is the most important celebration. People wear red clothes, and give children or the single guy (unmarried) "lucky money" in the red envelopes. Red symbolizes fire, which according to legend can drive away bad luck.

Usually they pray together on the night before at the temple. Burns incense sticks, light the candle and prepare a variety food as sacrifice. New Year festivities traditionally start on the first day of the month and continue until the fifteenth, known as Cap Go Meh.

Chinese New Year can begin anytime between late January and mid-February. It is based on the cycles of the moon. Each lunar year is associated with one of 12 zodiac animals. The mouse, or rat, is the first in the cycle of l2 animals representing years. The others are, chronologicaIly, the ox, the tiger, the rahbit, the dragon, the snake, the horse, the sheep, the monkey, the rooster, the dog and the pig. Why there is no Year of the Cat? Well, in the legend, the cat failed to be chosen because he was a day late getting to the God's place as the mouse had play a trick on him. That's why the Cat hated the Mouse ever since..:). Here in 2011 is the year of the Rabbit. Those born in rabbit years are popular, compassionate, and sincere.

Gong Xi Fa Cai, hope everyone will hop like rabbits one step at a time towards success.

Kacapiring, The Natural Fragrances

Kacapiring termasuk tanaman perdu tegak.
